1. About

Toadstool is a video game in development, published by Beldangi Fax Machine LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover this website and the game, including early access on Steam.

2. Mature content, 18+ only

Toadstool is intended for adults aged 18 and over. The game is a realistic psychology and mycology simulation that includes psilocybin mushrooms and their effects. It is fiction and a simulation. It is not advice, instruction, or encouragement to grow, use, or sell any controlled substance. Psilocybin mushrooms are illegal in many places. Know and follow the laws where you live.

3. Early access

Early access games are unfinished. Features, content, and price may change, and bugs are expected. Early access is expected to launch on Steam at about $14. Purchases are made through Steam and are covered by Steam's own terms and refund policy.

4. Your use of the game

You may play the game for your own personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the game or its assets, or use cheats or exploits to harm other players or the service.

5. Intellectual property

The game, its code, art, audio, and this website belong to us or our licensors. Footage you record of your own gameplay may be shared online.

6. No warranty and limit of liability

The website and game are provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from their use.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page.
